As a Research Assistant at NewMoo Foods, you'll play a crucial role in our research endeavors, engaging in advanced biochemical and molecular biology work. You'll have the opportunity to think creatively, engage in scientific discourse, and bring fresh ideas to the table in our multi-disciplinary work environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducting plant transformation, DNA/RNA analysis, and protein identification and analysis.
• Performing and coordinating a wide range of laboratory research procedures, managing complex tasks and projects aligned with our ongoing research goals.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of all experiments conducted.
• Hands-on execution of assay protocols.

Qualifications

*MSc graduate in life sciences or related fields.

*Industrial experience is mandatory.

*Proficient in gene transfection, DNA/RNA analysis, and gel electrophoresis methods– mandatory.

*Experienced in ELISA and Western Blot assays – an advantage.

*Experienced in Golden Gate / Green Gate cloning technique – an advantage.

*Skilled in plant molecular biology work– an advantage.

*Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a research team.

*A creative person, with the ability to think outside the box.

*Has the ability to work under pressure and meet challenging schedules.
