Controller

Nofar is a leading global company in the renewable energy sector. Since 2020, Nofar has been a public company traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

Over the past 12 years, the company has grown rapidly and consistently, with an extensive portfolio of projects and subsidiaries in 7 territories, 200 employees worldwide, and major renewable energy and energy storage projects.

The company specializes in the initiation, development, financing, construction, management, and operation of power generation projects from renewable energy sources.

We are looking for a talented Controller interested in professional growth in a meaningful and challenging role in a growing company.

Job Description:

- Prepare and consolidate financial reports of the group's subsidiaries (including currency reports)

- Lead, manage, and control the company's various activities in Israel and abroad

- Build annual work plans for different sectors

- Control accounting records

- Control project budgets

- Work with interfaces at the group's subsidiaries in Israel and abroad

- Take responsibility for new areas in the company

- Report to the Group's Chief Accountant

Full-time position at the company's offices in Ashdod

Requirements:

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - mandatory

- Bachelor's degree with a specialization in accounting - mandatory

- At least 2 years of experience as a manager at one of the Big 6 firms or at least 2 years of experience as an accountant in a company - mandatory

- Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements of public companies - advantage

- Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements of public companies in the solar energy sector - significant advantage

- Knowledge and experience in translating financial statements

- Experience in budgetary control - advantage

- Full proficiency and expertise in Excel - mandatory

- Excellent English - mandatory

- Ability to lead and take responsibility

- Creativity, thoroughness, strategic thinking

- Willingness to work intensively during quarterly and annual reporting periods
