Research Development Team Lead

ExoProTher is a dynamic privately owned startup located in Nesher with a unique proprietary technology and two development programs: oncology and anti-viral.

Experienced biotechnology R&D Lead, Oncology and Cell Therapies - will lead ExoProTher processes development program. They will design, plan, manage, conduct, analyze and report process development activities in coordination with Company strategic goals and regulatory inputs.

Principal Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Lead process and product development in nano-vesicles isolation and characterization
• Supervise and mentor team members
• Communicate and work closely with company management, other functions within the company, subcontractors and research collaborators

Qualifications

Required:

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in

o exosome isolation and purification

o advanced biomedical manufacturing process development and management

o tissue culture

o analytical methods and techniques such as multiplex-assays, ELISA, RT-PCR, FACS

• Industry experience, including 3+ years of demonstrated supervisory role experience
• Understanding of CMC, GLP and GMP requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication
• High level professional English and Hebrew

Advantage:

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in oncology therapeutics development
• Molecular biology background
• Knowledge of p53 mechanism of action
• Understanding of regulatory environment and processes
• Understanding of IP development processes
• Additional languages, specifically Russian

Education

• PhD or MSc in biology, biomedical engineering, food engineering or similar
• Industry based post-doctoral training or drug discovery experience will be considered as advantage.
