Datacenter Technician

6 Month Contract - $350 p.d. – Tel-Aviv - 5x Days onsite

The ideal candidate would work with large scale data center environments, working on enhancing an existing datacenter. This role would include performing data center change activities as well as daily operational duties including power, space, cooling, equipment, investing issues, fiber cabling. This person would set and maintain high standards across the data center.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop on areas of improvement, through a developed process
• Majority focus on enterprise grade datacenter infrastructure maintenance and enhancement
• Deliver prompt resolutions to complex hardware issues through vendors support
• Plan and coordinate Power, Space, Cooling & Equipment (including Rack & Stack).
• Intuitively address and prioritising tasks and collaborating with other technicians when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated track record of managing datacenters and systems performance with +7 years of experience in enterprise scale environments
• Very strong communication, presentation and analytical skills
• Current with latest hardware, software and networking technologies
