What You'll Do

You are a key leading driver within the organization to ensure environmental, health and safety requirements and considerations are embedded in our processes and across all of our Scoober locations in Israel. You will closely collaborate with the global HSSE team to translate global strategy into local processes. In this varied role you are responsible to:

• Identify and lead implementation to ensure compliance with local Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental legislation requirements.
• Maintain the regulatory framework and keep abreast with new and changed regulations and ensure compliance with it.
• Ensure implementation of local HSSE Policy aligned with Corporate HSSE Policy, Standards and Programs.
• Facilitate the completion of national HSSE risk assessments.
• Conduct HSSE audits of our facilities and ensure that control measures are put in place to eliminate or mitigate identified risks.
• Ensuring effectiveness of identified control measures through a monitoring and measurement program.
• Set objectives and targets for HSSE performance improvement.
• Manage HSSE related training programs nationally, incl. the compilation of a training needs analysis and matrix, content development/ translations, calendar management and participation tracking.
• Ensure HSSE incidents are reported and investigated and provide guidance and support to ensure Corrective and Preventive Measures are identified and allocated to relevant stakeholders to prevent incidents recurrence.
• Ensure timely accurate reporting of HSSE incidents to relevant authorities.
• Analysis and evaluation of leading and lagging indicators and HSSE performance periodically.
• Take actions for HSSE continuous improvements and ensure annual HSSE KPI’s are met.
• Contribute to global JET HSSE framework as being part the JET HSSE community
• Drive behavior-based safety within the operations in order to create and establish the desired safety culture.
• Embedding HSSE processes to develop a high level of safety maturity.
  
  

Are you the one?

• +5 years of experience in occupational health and safety as well as with cooperation of trade unions and authorities
• Occupational Health and Safety and an Environmental Certification
• Fluency in Hebrew & English
• Knowledge and experience in implementation of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Standards- a big plus!
• Ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Readiness to design processes and initiate them from scratch.
• Expertise in google suite
• Influencing through collaboration capability - working in matrix organizations
• Academic degree in a relevant field- A must
• Experience working in global environment - plus
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Tableau platforms is considered a strong advantage.
