As a Professional Services Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers realize value as quickly as possible, using a mixture of strong technical and consultative skills.

By deploying, optimizing, and performing value-added activities, you will be part of a team of Professional Services Engineers who pride themselves on bridging the gap between our customer’s needs and our platform’s robust capabilities. You will speak and work with Security Admins, Sys Admins, Network Admins, Storage Admins, CISOs, and business owners. We look to hire people that have walked the walk and talked the talk.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze information about customer environments, leading technical teams through various stages of implementation, including project planning, deployment, and troubleshooting
• Understand customer’s security pain points, objectives, and critical outcomes, mapping these needs to Varonis solutions
• Advise, and drive adoption, of security and data governance best practices
• Manage, track, and provide regular reports on the progress of your engagements
• Educate, evangelize, and execute risk reduction using Varonis remediation capabilities
• Provide timely communication to customers and internal teams
• Proactively contribute to departmental and company-wide knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve the product, service delivery, and customer experience
  
  

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 5+ years of related technical experience
• Experience with Microsoft products and environments such as Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server, SQL, etc.
• Knowledge of, and experience managing, cloud services such as M365 (SharePoint and OneDrive)
• Outstanding customer-facing skills and a strong focus on customer success
• Ability to discuss highly technical concepts to all audiences, ranging from technical to executive level decision-makers
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong presentation, facilitation, writing, and analytical skills
• Varonis knowledge is a plus
