Financial Analyst

For one of our clients, we are looking fora Financial Analyst.

The Finance Analyst specializes in Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A), provides comprehensive finance insights and strategic guidance to drive informed decision-making. The Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in analysing finance data, forecasting future trends, and evaluating performance metrics to support key business initiatives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including managers and operational staff, the Finance Analyst contributes to the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-term Financeplans. By leveraging their expertise in financial modelling, variance analysis, and cost optimization, the Finance Analyst will help optimize resource allocation, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate financial risks. The Finance Analyst directly impacts the company’s ability to navigate dynamic market conditions, achieve operational excellence, and sustain our position as a leader in the industry.

Core Tasks & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning activities. Conduct financial analysis to assess the company's performance, including revenue trends, cost structures, and profitability metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather data and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management, highlighting variances and trends against budget and forecasts.
• Support the annual budgeting process by providing analysis, guidance, and recommendations to departmental heads and executives.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor performance to inform strategic planning and resource allocation decisions.
• Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate Finance reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to internal controls.
• Develop and maintain finance models for various business units and products.
• Prepare ad-hoc finance analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
• Manage pricing database, prepare pricing models, and pricing administration for updates.
• Responsible for planning and reporting data (e.g. sales, costs, revenue, HC) budgeting process, and monthly reports.
• Sales analysis - prepare and analyze sales reports for Management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting / industrial engineering & management.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as FP&A/ Finance Analyst.
• Proficiency in Finance modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.
• Previous experience working with SAP – an advantage.
• Previous experience working in a global environment – an advantage.
• Excellent command of English (Written& Verbal).
• Excellent command of Excel, including advanced functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex Finance data and draw meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate Finance information to non-Finance stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
