Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with 3+ years of experience who also has skills in Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop the backend part of our internal platform for drug discovery.
• Develop automated tests for the developed functionality.
• Interact with consumers of our platform: biologists, chemists, and data scientists to understand requirements and deliver results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience programming in Java and Phyton
• BSc in Computer Science or related field

Must have experience with:

- Java ecosystem

1. Spring IOC

2. Spring Data JPA

3. Hibernate

4. Any Java web Framework

5. Maven

- Python ecosystem:

1. Middle level of knowledge of Python language

2. Any api server solution

3. Any database solution

- General:

1. SQL language

2. PostgreSQL database, ACID in Pg

3. Linux + basic knowledge of bash scripting

Will be a plus:

1. Experience with NoSQL databases

2. Deep knowledge of Java platform including advanced topics like multithreading, GC, JMM etc.

3. Experience with GRPC

4. Experience with GraphQL

5. Participation in projects with Data Science team, interaction with Data Science team.
