Clinical Collaboration & Research Lead

FIZE Medical is a fast-growing medical device start-up with ground-breaking technology for monitoring critically ill patients, based in Modiin.

About the position:

We’re looking for a motivated Clinical Collaboration & Research Lead. In this role, you will build relationships with leading physicians and medical institutions in Israel, USA & Europe, while working closely with them to design and carry out clinical studies, collect clinical data, and support data analysis and scientific paper submissions. The job requires a background in scientific research (MSc / PhD in a scientific field), with the advantage of experience in an intensive care environment. It’s a unique opportunity for someone who has a passion for doing something meaningful (save lives) and want to establish a new role with a lot of freedom to sprout new ideas. Responsibilities:

• Initiate and manage collaborations with physicians and hospital research centers.
• On-site visits in hospitals in Israel and in the USA.
• Work with external clinical advisors and CROs to oversee clinical studies execution.
• Design clinical studies and data collection mechanisms.
• Write study protocols and obtain IRB approvals.
• Participate in data analysis, study case mapping and description, and scientific paper submissions.

Requirements :

• M.Sc./PhD in exact sciences (Medical/Biological field is an advantage). 
• Excellent inter-personal communication skills.
• Fluent in English, with strong scientific writing skills.
• Independent project management skills.
• Available to travel to the USA and Europe.
• Comfortable working with data records.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in clinical research.
• Experience in data analysis.
