Mobile App Technical Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile App Technical Leader to oversee the technical aspects of a pioneering mobile application development project. This role involves ownership of the design, coding guidelines, and processes to ensure app reliability, quality, and stability. You will be responsible for unit testing, integrating with cloud services, and related medical devices while adhering to medical regulations and cybersecurity privacy standards. This position requires strict adherence to timelines and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the App Development process in a regulated environment.
• Ensure the creation of clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Develop scalable designs for iOS and Android platforms.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance the technical aspects of mobile app development.
• Introduce and update mobile app development technologies and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and system engineers, to gather requirements and execute development plans.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms, preferably in regulated fields (e.g., fintech, insurance, health).
• Profound knowledge of software development processes, version control systems like Git, and agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Advanced degrees are an advantage.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with cloud services; familiarity with AWS is a plus.
• Comprehensive understanding of mobile app security practices including secure authentication and data encryption.
• Prior experience in software/system level development of multidisciplinary products is beneficial.
