Project Engineer - Systems Engineering (Design of Computer Systems for the Military-Security Field)

Job Description:

• Design, integrate and implement OEM computing solutions for customers in the military/security sector.
• Presales are essential in the sales process, and relationships with technical staff at the customer's site are important for winning the project.
• Manage engineering projects from end to end, including planning, implementation, construction and integration of the final product.
• Deal with various constraints (mechanics, heat, performance, etc.) and transfer to production.
• Independent work alongside the operation of subcontractors, planners and manufacturers.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in leading product/HW computing solution projects for customers in the military and industrial sector
• Writing product specification, assembly and testing documents.
• Designing embedded computing solutions - from the specification stage to implementation at the customer's site, with a techno-economic perspective.
• Understanding of the design and manufacturing of MIL standard solutions and the needed adaptation to environmental conditions (Ruggedizing).
• Working experience with Defense sector (defense industries/IDF) - an advantage.
• Ability to work and present to customers.
• Valid security clearance - an advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• English at a good level.

Education:

• Relevant academic degree/technician/engineer/graduate of a military unit/or with relevant training in courses.
