Senior Software Engineer

Planet Nine is looking for a Senior Software Engineer specializing in High-Performance systems to build the backbone of an ambitious product that will hamstring sophisticated scams, phishing, and ransomware attacks. One of the central challenges is scaling up our sophisticated models and technology to internet scale.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop the backend of a system designed to perform ML inference at scale.
• Work closely with our data scientists and ML engineers to identify and build effective and performant ways to perform inference at scale.

What we’re looking for:

• 5 years proven experience working with tight latency constraints, strict performance requirements, or advanced ML models
• Technical leadership - lead and articulate the development of complex systems
• A solid foundation in profiling and optimization
• Working knowledge of cloud environments and ML
