Job Description: Individual/ Couples/Family Therapist                            9^th June 2025

Loving Wisely, a Couples, Family Sex and Trauma therapy clinic is expanding!

We are now adding a therapist to work with individuals, couples and families.

Our ideal therapist has the following:

The ability to handle challenging emotions and to be capable of diving deep beneath the surface to help our clients overcome a wide range of relationship-related difficulties.

Qualifications: BA in Psychology, Social Work, or Mental Health counselling.  Preference given to those with additional Masters level qualifications.

6 months-2 years experience, preferably in Marriage and Family therapy and ideally with experience in trauma counseling

·       Passion to help individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds and experiences

·       Competence in the use of evidence-based therapeutic practices.

·       Flexible with work schedule

·       Proven communication skills: The ability to handle clients’ challenging emotions.

·       Strong desire to learn and grow from senior professionals.

·       Committed to being a member of a team.

·       Work in both Hebrew and English a must. Additional languages welcome.

Who is Loving Wisely?

We are a Marriage and Family Therapy clinic based in Katamon, Jerusalem, founded by Micki Lavin-Pell, MFT in 2020. Our clients are varied in religious, cultural and ethnic backgrounds and are interested in healing from attachment-related traumas that are getting in the way of their relationship bonds with family members, romantic partners, work colleagues and loved ones. Many have experienced shock and developmental traumas and require ongoing therapy. Other clients are interested in obtaining tools and gaining more awareness about how to create successful, healthy long-term relationship from the start while utilizing evidence-based practices. While we are based in Jerusalem, we see clients all over Israel via online platforms.
