We are looking for a capable and enthusiastic backend python application engineer to join an elite team of top engineers, data scientists, and financial market professionals.

As a python application engineer at MKT MediaStats you are expected to take a significant role within a small, dedicated cross-functional team.

You’ll be responsible for an entire software development life-cycle, from the conception of a product to the development of advanced server-side technologies including complex data-driven applications, and business-critical backend web applications.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop complex back-end architectures and software solutions.

Build and maintain servers and databases in AWS for application functionality.

Lead new product development from conception to client integration.

Build high-quality tools to make our infrastructure scalable, and robust.

Research emerging cutting-edge technologies and integrate them into production environments.

Requirements:

Developer at heart, open to learning, loves working with data, and passionate about new technologies.

2+ years experience with Python.

Experience with Web Applications

Hands-on experience in server-side development.

BSc in computer science, data science, or related fields.

Self-started and self-motivated team player with a ‘get things done’ attitude.

Desire and capability to work in an intensive and dynamic environment.

Desirables:

Experience with both SQL and NoSQL Databases.

Experience with AWS cloud services.

Experience with high-scale systems.

Experience with Docker, K8s and Micro Services

Knowledge and experience with statistics, mathematics, and financial python libraries.
