Cloud Manager

A rapidly growing start-up developing unique smart systems for water management. Located in the Sharon region, they incorporate two days of remote work.

With 40 employees, the company has been in existence since 2011.

The position involves managing 3 development teams, totaling 12 employees, some based in Croatia and some in Israel. The teams consist of Java developers, Ruby developers, and DevOps personnel.

Job responsibilities

• Manage 3 teams, a total of more than 10 developers: team lead, backend, frontend and DeVos.
• Perform design and code reviews.
• Developing and maintaining cloud-based services for managing the company’s new IoT devices.
• Build new cloud-based infrastructure that will be used to manage the company’s IoT devices.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2 years of experience in managing 2-3 development teams.
• 10 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and solid problem solving & system design skills.
• 2 years of experience with AWS technologies.

• Experience with AWS, Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, Elasticsearch, Kafka, No-SQL DBs, IoT, Ruby
• Front-end technologies such as React, GraphQL, Highcharts
