Junior GRC Consultant

Clear Gate seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will primarily focus on compliance processes related to ISO27001, SOC2, and HIPAA. You will work closely with clients to ensure their adherence to these standards and regulations, providing guidance and support throughout the compliance journey.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing compliance programs for ISO27001, SOC2, and HIPAA.
• Conduct compliance assessments and gap analysis to identify areas of improvement.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and maintain compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
• Provide guidance on best practices and industry standards for information security and data privacy.
• Monitor and track compliance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and standards changes and communicate their impact to clients.
• Assist in preparing compliance reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support the resolution of compliance-related issues and incidents, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of ISO27001, SOC2, and HIPAA compliance requirements and frameworks.
• Familiarity with information security and data privacy principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM are a plus.
• Previous experience in compliance, risk management, or information security is preferred but not required.
