NPI Electrical Engineer

Nuvo is an emerging leader in maternal-fetal connected health, passionate about creating technology that radically transforms the experience of pregnancy for expectant parents and healthcare providers.

In this role, you will own the electrical engineering NPI process as well as our factories test-station engineering activities, interacting with internal teams (R&D, Product, QA/RA), manufacturers,and suppliers to bring the product to mass production and establish operational infrastructure for scale.

Job Requirements

· B.Sc. in Electronic/Electrical Engineering

· At least 4 years of experience in a similar role in a medical device company

· Proven record of electronic hardware design and development for mass production

· Proven experience with production test equipment definition, development, implementation, and maintenance

· PLM experience; Oracle Agile - an advantage

· Familiarity with BOM Management and Doc Control

· Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Orcad)

· Technical Writing experience (Work Instructions, Procedures, SOPs)

· Experience in high-density PCB layout design – an advantage.

· Strong attention to detail, with a proven ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and effectively communicate

challenges.

· Entrepreneurial mindset– adaptable and open to taking on various responsibilities.

· Excellent English skills (verbal and written)

· Travel will likely be required 1-2 times a year

Job Responsibilities

Migration of new PCBs from development to production; development, implementation, and maintenance of testing Jigs; supplier management and manufacturing support; ramping up production lines; 3PL and fulfillment center management; and work instructions engineering documentation.
