Tax Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Tax Manager to analyze and deal with all aspects of our tax issues including planning, compliance, and reporting. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining a strong, collaborative partnership with other teams making sure we remain compliant with tax laws and regulations. You will:

• Lead and coordinate tax compliance obligations, maintaining oversight of indirect/consumption taxes requirements such as VAT, GST, and sales tax
• Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual worldwide income tax items (ASC 740) and identify and document UTPs and tax contingencies (FIN 48 and ASC450)
• Assist in preparation of statutory tax returns as well as tax reporting requirements such as CbC report
• Manage and monitor global transfer pricing arrangements and intercompany agreements
• Help manage and coordinate worldwide tax audits
• Stay up-to-date on current tax laws and keep track of relevant changes in domestic and global tax laws
• Assess and research challenging tax issues to identify solutions and mitigate tax risks
  
  

Qualifications:

• You’re a qualified CPA or Lawyer with 4-6 years of experience in corporate tax
• You have a degree in law, accounting, or taxation
• You have experience with international and US tax issues and are familiar with US GAAP, FIN48, ASC 740
• You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• You have strong written and verbal English
• Your Excel skills are advanced
• You’re familiar with digital environments and can process and collect data from different sources, providing significant tax analyses
• Experience working with one of the ‘Big 4’ or a global hi-tech company would be an advantage
