Operational Excellence Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Specialist to join our Information System group. The Operational Excellence PM Specialist will play a key role in optimizing processes and enhancing operational efficiency within the IT department. This position will involve analyzing current workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices to streamline operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The Operational Excellence PM will be a significant contributor in enabling the Business Technology vision and helping scale our automations processes effectiveness.

A day in the life

• Collaborate with MIS domain experts to define operational excellence goals and objectives prior to plans and tracking before and after value realization.
• Conduct process assessments to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Analyze data and metrics to measure process performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Provide training and support to MIS staff on process improvement methodologies and tools.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes and make adjustments as needed.
• Communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

What you’ll bring

To excel in this role, you'll need to bring the following qualifications and attributes:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong understanding of MIS operations and processes.
• Proven experience in process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Proficiency in process mapping, root cause analysis, and performance metrics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
