Cloud backend Team lead

Searchium.ai , a SAAS platform owned by GSI Technology, is looking for a Hands on Cloud backend to lead our applications server backend team.

About us

Searchium.ai is a proprietary hardware-powered vector database serving as the essential foundation for search engines in large-scale AI and ML applications.

As a Team lead , you will lead complex technological projects independently, working with other teams and groups. You will have full responsibility for developing new features end-to-end in an Agile environment, including a cloud SaaS vector database architecture (Tech stack: Python, Java Spring, AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, Cassandra, Kafka, Linux, Docker, Git and more).

In this position you will:

• responsible for the design of software according to agreed standards and requirements.
• and groom the backend teams backlog, be active in improving the systems, and making them more robust, scalable, cost-effective and speed-effective.
• and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
• teamwork, mentor & review the quality of the code and process.

Qualifications:

• years of experience with Python (C++, Java Spring - big advantage)
• years of proven experience as a Team/Tech lead .
• working with cloud such as AWS/Azure/GCP.
• experience bringing a software solution from an early development stage to production.
• breaking down product requirements to an execution plan and team tasks.
• with database design and efficient data management (Security, Privacy, Stability, Scalability).
• with Docker, Linux, Git, REST.

Nice to have:

• with backend monitoring systems.
• stack experience (server side oriented).
• about design and coding, new technologies, and the development of high-quality software.
• interpersonal skills.
• Oriented – able to “see the big picture” and think about business rules as well as lines of code.
• English skills.
