R&D scientist - Foresee Genomics

Foresee Genomics, a Haifa-based Next Generation Sequencing diagnostic company, develops decision support tools for precision cancer treatment. The technology combines a molecular biology procedure and bioinformatics software in the field of clinical NGS diagnostics. The company is growing and recruiting a molecular biology expert.

We are looking for a full-time, talented, and highly motivated candidate with a strong background in life sciences and experience in developing molecular biology methods. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a challenging Next Generation Sequencing project, combining cutting-edge molecular biology and bioinformatics.

Responsibilities

1. Develop molecular biology methods according to the company's products and needs.
2. Stay updated on innovations in the field of molecular diagnostics and Next Generation Sequencing, and report these updates.
3. Write and apply for grants for financial support to the company.
4. Plan, apply, and supervise the regulation strategy.
5. Represent the company in relevant forums and conferences worldwide (upon request).

Qualifications

1. MSc or PhD (preferred) in life sciences with experience in developing molecular biology protocols.
2. Experience in NGS – sample preparation and data analysis.
3. Experience in clinical diagnostics lab work (advantage).
4. Ability to write grants (advantage).
5. Self-motivated and with a "think big" mentality.
6. Ability to perform in a dynamic and diverse environment.
7. Teamwork capabilities.
