Algorithm & System Control Developer

A great, growing Medical Device startup is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Algorithm and System Control Developer to join its dynamic Technology team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Technology and Electrochemistry teams to design, develop, and optimize algorithms.

• Analyze and interpret data from research labs and clinical studies, utilizing machine learning, control systems, and signal processing tools.

• Engage in hands-on algorithm development, primarily utilizing Python, to create robust and effective solutions.

• Contribute to the design of lab and clinical study experiments, ensuring they yield actionable insights.

• Work closely with the Director of Technology and other team members to align algorithm development with overall technological and business goals.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in algorithm development and system control.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Physics / Engineering / Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in algorithm development, preferably in a medical technology or related environment.

• Expertise in signal processing - Mandatory!

• Demonstrated expertise in machine learning and/or control systems .

• Proficiency in Python programming and experience with other relevant software tools.

• Proven ability to analyze and interpret time-series data, particularly from clinical or lab settings.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to translate complex technical details into clear, actionable insights.

• Experience in the medical technology field is highly desirable, particularly involving lab or clinical study data analysis.
