Head of Product Design

As a Head of Product Design, you will play a pivotal role in driving the design vision and strategy for our products. You will lead a team of talented designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence. Your primary focus will be on crafting intuitive, user-centric experiences that delight our customers and drive adoption of our product.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product designers, providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the design team.
• Design Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear design vision and strategy that aligns with the company overall product and business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive consensus around design decisions.
• User-Centric Design: Advocate for the user throughout the product development process, ensuring that design solutions are intuitive, accessible, and meet the needs of our diverse user base. Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions and drive product improvements.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful execution of design projects. Foster a collaborative, cross-functional approach to product development.
• Design Excellence: Set high standards for design quality, consistency, and innovation. Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, ensuring that they meet both user needs and technical requirements. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to designers to help them produce their best work.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in design processes, tools, and methodologies. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall design practice.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a track record of designing successful, user-centric products and experiences.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Deep understanding of design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and best practices in UX/UI design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.
• PLG (Product Led Growth) experience is an advantage.
• Passion for analytics, data visualization, and solving complex problems through design.
