Meet Easyplant - who we are?

As part of our mission to make home design frictionless we understood that plants are the worst home design product that dies constantly. We knew this is an engineering issue and we forged our focus towards a mission to prevent plants from dying. Hence, we invested 2 years and developed a self-watering system that prevents plants from dying.

The adoption rates of the product in the market are just phenomenal and we are accelerating our activity which is increasing our need for a top-notch Tech Lead to help us build the next generation of easyplant combining technology with nature.

Areas of responsibility

We believe in data based decision making, we invest a lot in our data and have A LOT of it - we’re looking for someone to take us to the next level, choosing the right tools, methodologies and be a great partner to the team.

• Pixel Perfect: You will work closely with Product and UX to create top-notch user experiences. They should be pixel perfect.
• Infrastructure: Help develop and improve our infrastructure, push the envelope on performance and stability
• Lead: You will be the focal point for anything code related in the team. You will lead 1-2 developers, will mentor them and will set standards. You will be expected to speak up and lead by example.
• Take Ownership: You will be responsible for our technology E2E and will be expected to take full ownership of the tech.
• Business Oriented: We all are business oriented. You’ll learn and will be expected to understand the business implications of everything we do.
• Be a Partner: You will be a partner to our Product, UX, Marketing and business. You absolutely will have to be a team player with a “Can Do” attitude.

Who are you?

• Super strong full stack engineer, 7+ years of experience (web frontend oriented, pixel perfect mindset)
• You have total control over HTML, CSS and Javascript. You dream in JS and have opinions.
• Exceptional track record of excellence (e.g., ex-8200 / academic distinctions / upwards career trajectory)
• Hands-on experience through out
