backend Team Leader

Location: Ramat gan (Near train station)

Position Summary

This is an opportunity to join a start-up company solving critical problems in cyber security and industrial operations, located in Ramat Gan and established by seasoned entrepreneurs.

The Company is implementing a new, patented approach to modeling and monitoring operational environments in the water, power, oil, and gas industries and IoT device security. The technology uses unique and innovative topological algorithms, statistics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML).

IXDen is currently managing several multi-national customers and quickly expanding its business in the US and Europe. 

The backend Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team of Java / Python developers, overseeing the agile development process, ensuring that coding standards are met, and guiding the team towards successful project completion. The Java Team Lead is also responsible for providing technical guidance and mentoring to team members, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally.

The backend Team Leader will report to the Development manager.

Required Skills

• B.Sc. in Computer Science/SW Engineering from a top university
• 4+ years’ experience in designing and building enterprise-grade software (can be in IDF)
• Management experience – leading a group of 4-8 people at least
• Hands-on, proficient in backend development with Java (Spring Boot) and Python
• Experience in a microservices architecture
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Fluent in Linux and Windows
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka
• Knowledge of computer networks, especially security aspects - advantage
• Background in mathematics, statistics, AI, and ML – a big advantage
