Job Description

Intel's AI solution group is looking for a highly skilled, senior Machine Learning Engineer. The AI Solutions Group is Intel's leading group for developing cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. We employ 250 machine learning engineers, data scientists, and AI product analysts, the majority of whom are based in Israel.

We provide internal and external AI and Gen AI capabilities to transform Intel's most critical business processes, ranging from processor Architecture and Design to manufacturing and validation. We have over 500 AI solutions in production that give Intel a competitive advantage and generate more than 1 billion dollars in additional revenue or cost savings.

Within AI Solutions Group, you will be part of a small team of experts which delivers cutting-edge AI platforms and reusable MLOps products.

What will your job look like?

As a senior machine learning engineer at AI Solutions Group, you will be part of a small team of experts that create cutting-edge AI platforms and reusable MLOps products using most advanced coding practices and design patterns.

You will be in charge of designing, developing and supporting scalable AI products and platforms, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and techniques.

As part of your responsibilities, you will explore and develop using a variety of both new and established open-source technologies, including K8s, Kafka, Argo, MLFlow, and various NoSQL technologies. Development is driven by agile software engineering practices such as Scrum, MLOps, Continuous integration and delivery Micro-service architecture and the use of tools like Git, Jenkins, Helm, Docker, Artifactory and more.

Qualifications

If You are:

• A gifted autodidact developer, with a strong passion for technology, living and breathing code
• An expert Python developer with passion to work in the AI domain.
• Strong problem solver with critical thinking skills
• Having the pleasure of working within a team of experts, assisting others in need
• Able to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and gracefully accept the unavoidable context-switches.
• Comfortable in collaborating and supporting a diverse team of MLE/DS/Product engineers, of different skill sets and expertise.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience as software engineer with Exceptional development skills
• Proven previous work experience as a Python Developer and practical experience with key Python frameworks
• Experience with containerized environments and microservices (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proven Experience with SQL/NoSQL DBs, Kafka, Elasticsearch and other Big Data technologies
• Academic degreein Computer Science, SW Engineering, or a related field
  
  

Preferred Skills And Qualifications (An Advantage)

• Experience in working with models using ML/DL/GenAI techniques and tools such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience in developing software within a distributed computation frameworks such as Spark.
• Experience working in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure etc.)
• experience with other programming languages such as Java, Scala or GO
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
