Lab Technician

(Maternity Leave Replacement for 9 months with an option)

Starting: September 2024

Duration: 9 months (with an option for extension)

Company Overview: We are a versatile company dedicated to pioneering novel applications of nanocarriers for food and drug products. We are seeking a skilled and hands-on lab technician to join our laboratory as a maternity leave replacement. Our small, family-like team operates with close communication and frequent interactions, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Role Description: As Lab Tech, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for executing and analysing experiments in line with our defined work plan and timelines. Your primary tasks will include executing experiments, troubleshooting, maintaining the lab in good operational condition. Additional responsibilities may arise to maintain daily operations. There will also be occasional work from a lab at a different location in the center, requiring mobility, flexibility and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and analyze experiments according to a defined work plan.
• Independently execute experiments and troubleshoot.
• Maintenance of the lab.
• Report to the Head of R&D.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in pharmaceutical or lab work and research.
• Proficient in operating laboratory equipment.
• Strong writing skills of protocols and reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in analytical techniques, HPLC, UV-Vis, liquid extraction, particle analysis, and titration methods.
• Experience in formulations development.
• Familiarity with GMP and GLP regulations.
