Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Commissioning Supervisor (SW Oriented) located in Tel Aviv District, Israel. The Commissioning Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to carrying out the ISAT and SAT tests of the systems, in coordination with the commissioning team of the corresponding techniques. The role will involve supporting the installations carried out by our subcontractor according to high quality standards and on time. Autonomous Team Configuration: ability to configure teams without the support of the development team.

Qualifications

• Electric/Electronic/Telecom Engineer or similar
• 5+ years' experience in transportation projects is required
• Advanced Network Knowledge: Solid experience in networks, with understanding of communications, switches, layer 2, layer 3 switches and fiber optics.
• Linux Systems Administration: Experience in the administration of Linux operating systems, essential for the operation of our software.
• Cloning of Disks and Virtual Machines: Skills in disk cloning, installation of virtual machines and operating systems.
• Autonomy in Reading Technical Documentation: Ability to read, understand and apply datasheets, installation and configuration manuals from third parties.
• Notions of Electronics and Troubleshooting: Autonomy in the review of simple connections (power supplies, SPD, trip cables, etc.) to troubleshoot installed equipment.
• Languages: English and Hebrew - Spanish highly recommended 

Desirable

• Experience working with/for some Department of Transportation preferred
• Experience in installation and electrical diagrams
• Experience in commissioning tolling and ITS solutions
• Experience in ITS and Traffic Cameras: Technical knowledge in traffic cameras, including exposure times, gain and OCR for license plates
• Deployment in Docker: Familiarity with the deployment and management of Docker containers
• Familiarity with JSON: Experience in the JSON data structure.
• Database Knowledge: Preferably experience with databases, especially PostgreSQL with PgAdmin.
• Knowledge in Applied Artificial Intelligence: Experience or familiarity with artificial intelligence models used in toll systems, including understanding of the data labelling process, evaluation of confidence percentages and optimization of algorithms to improve the accuracy of recognition of vehicles and related data.

The job will require:

• Field work: act in the fast lane, moving effectively to supervise the installation and performance of the toll system.
• Flexible and night schedule: availability to work flexible schedules, including night shifts during the installation phase to guarantee the continuity of the project.
• Availability to travel: the ability to travel is required according to the needs of the project, collaborating on implementations at a national and international level.
