About the Position

As a Python Developer at SupPlant, you will play a pivotal role in our R&D department and you'll make a major impact on our business.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency algorithms.
• Delivering high-availability and performance.
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Debug and maintain the existing system.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Python development
• Previous experience with SaaS development with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS)
• Database experience, working knowledge of SQL and Non-Relational Databases (MySql/ Cassandra)
• Experience using Git / GitHub
• Understanding of architecture and infrastructure
• Self-starter, fast learner, passionate, creative, can-do attitude and a great team player
• Excellent English communication skills spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Experience with Java development.
• Experience with MLOps.
• Experience with containers, orchestration, and CI\CD processes.
• Familiar with agile\SCRUM methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge and experience of the agriculture and irrigation industry.
