Immunologist

The Immunologist role is a critical role within the Core Biology & Data Management group. It requires a broad and solid understanding of the immune system combined with above-average quantitative thinking.

The Immunologist is the entity that determines the validity of our computational disease models generated by cutting-edge Machine Learning algorithms and approves them for usage by internal units of CytoReason as well as external usage by clients.

This process includes working with multiple biological data types, with a focus on single-cell RNA seq data and interpreting downstream analysis.

You will be joining our diverse and creative working environment of biologists, bioinformaticians and data managers.

Responsibilities

• You will have to quickly learn the biology around the different diseases and existing treatments and become our top expert on that topic
• Perform data interpretation and analysis from a biologist’s perspective using advanced computational interfaces
• Suggest computational validations of Models using existing data 

Requirements 

• PhD in Immunology, Oncology, or related fields or MSc with relevant experience
• Extended understanding of SC literature and “know how” is an advantage
• 3+ years of experience working with a team
• Experience in supporting pharma R&D projects
• Experience in high dimensional data interpretation
• Experience with multiple omics technologies
• Very strong communication skills in English
• Detail-oriented, and capable of defining processes
• Excellent presentation skills
