Algorithm Developer

A leading AI startup developed a unique system providing advanced tools for writing and reading inspired by AI.

The platform assists various professionals and industries in dealing with vast amounts of data more effectively. They have two main products: AI-based writing and reading assistance applications, catering to a wide range of users. Their team focuses on NLP/LLM/GenAI research and development, utilizing DL/ML methods, and handles tasks from research to production deployment.

The role involves being part of the algorithms team focusing on research and development in NLP/LLM/GenAI, neural networks, and classical methods (DL/ML), research and engineering tasks, deployment to production, reading articles, and translating them into models, in LLMs fields. The position is relevant for experts from the Vision field who want to enter the language models domain. Working on a massive scale, coding in Python at a high level with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud computing - AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes.

With nearly 250 employees, they are located in Tel Aviv, near the railway line, and offer hybrid work options.

Responsibility -

• Build the algorithms that power the various products

• Develop production-grade solutions to challenging product-driven NLP tasks by combining deep language models, classical ML/NLP and algorithms

• Collaborate with product, sales and customer success teams to define success criteria and translate them into quantitative measures and objectives

• Devise innovative strategies for collecting training and evaluation data

• Train and evaluate models in realistic production scenarios

• End-to-end ownership of the algorithmic components of our products, from design, through implementation and monitoring in production

Requirements-

• Independence and resourcefulness, ability to come up with innovative solutions and evaluate them quickly

• 2+ years of hands-on industry experience in Machine Learning/Deep Learning (utilizing standard frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc...)

• Experience writing production-grade code

• M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent research experience

• Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning fundamentals

• Proficient in Python development

• Proficient in data exploration, manipulation and visualization

• Advantage for practical NLP experience
