Product Owner, Startup Nation Finder - Maternity leave replacement

We are looking for a Product Owner for a key project under the Startup Nation Finder platform. Join our dynamic team to drive product requirements and development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align products with our vision and strategy.

Our Finder product suite leverages rich data, including extensive datasets on public and private markets, strategic customer networks, and capital flows.

At Startup Nation Central, we help global solution seekers tackle complex challenges by giving them frictionless access to the expertise and solutions of Israel’s problem solvers. Finder is the business engagement platform of the Israeli tech ecosystem, creating connections, generating deal flow, and fostering new business opportunities – in addition to delivering actionable insights and valuable data.

Responsibilities

• Own product requirements and drive product life cycle with Agile Methodology including user stories, UX, UI and production of detailed specs (PRDs)

• Turn high-level requirements into detailed requirements ready to be implemented by the engineering teams

• Communicate requirements and project details to stakeholders, including engineering teams

• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure end-to-end high quality product delivery

• Become a SME on our Finder product, including understanding user needs and workflows

• Continuously improve our internal deliverables and operational processes

• Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading design and development of products, preferably of data and machine learning services

• Demonstrated experience working closely with engineering teams, managing product backlogs, making trade-off decisions, defining technical requirements, establishing success criteria, and tracking impact

• Familiar with web methodologies for B2B and B2C including UX and UI definition

• Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle and clear track record of delivering value to clients

• Experienced in implementing products using Agile Methodology.

• Excellent project management skills and the ability to drive multiple, complex activities to completion

• Strong interpersonal skills and experience leading and driving execution with cross-functional teams

• Experience as a SW team leader – advantage

• Experience as a functional architect – advantage

• B.A. in computer science or similar degree – advantage
