Procurement Buyer

We are looking for a Procurement Buyer to join us.

Responsibilities:

• Working with suppliers and subcontractors - executing agreements, executing purchasing orders, managing work processes, and supporting internal organizational needs.
• Executing commercial agreements, including identifying new procurement sources, managing negotiations, signing procurement agreements, and maintaining ongoing communication with suppliers
• Responsibility for the fulfillment of purchase orders, backlog management and supply according to the needs of the projects and internal customers.
• Carrying out sourcing and optimization processes for a supplier base.
• Oversee cost reduction initiatives, including cost savings and avoidance initiatives.
• Define KPIs and best practices and push forward their implementation across the organization.

The position is at the Tefen Industrial Park in Northern Israel.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of 3 years or more in local and global procurement – mandatory
• A relevant academic degree - advantage.
• Negotiation & Commercial skills
• knowledge of ERP systems
• Highly motivated, initiative, flexibility, innovation, and professionalism
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team player
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent ability to work on parallel tasks.
• Excel - high level, Power point and BI tools knowledge
• English at a high-level speaking and writing.
