Production Manager

An exceptional Ag-tech /Food-tech startup is looking for a production site Manager.

The company headquarters is located in Tel Aviv.

Join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and biologists to tackle the most burning questions of the ag-tech and food-tech industries and play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and vision.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and manage team in a multiple cross-discipline environment.
• Create a dynamic engaging environment that proactively investigates and identifies critical points and major milestones, while establishing and tracking KPIs, metrics, and goals to ensure individual and team performance aligns with overall business objectives.

·      Lead production processes from R&D to continues mass production, plan, execution, product file, and detailed updates and forecasts.

·      Plan, maintain and execute daily, weekly and monthly work plans to insure optimization of the product process and yield.

·      Coordinate all logistics support between pilot farm and external function such as customer order Requirements and suppliers. understand operation terminology such as yield, efficiency, etc.

·      Lead product files, protocols documentation, BOM transfer and BOM configuration management

·      Monitor inventory and on time delivery (OTD).

·      Ensure meeting all quality requirements.

·      Understand the effect of production efficiency to profitability.

·      High level of understanding of balance sheet (Gross Margin, Operational Margin etc.) 

·      Ensure ongoing employee compliance with all safety regulations. Improves overall safety in the facility.

·      Report to the COO, collaborating with senior leadership.

·      Experience in a startup environment (tight budget and timeline).

·      Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

·      Fast learning curve of new disciplines with the ability to diagnose and foresee problems.

·      Broad technological experience and familiarity with the Bio-Tech industry and regulatory issues – advantage

·      Start-up attitude – flexible, agile, openness, ready to take tasks beyond his responsibility, team player.

·      Proficient in Office Suite – Work, Excel, Power Point.

So, if you have:

·      B.Sc. from a known university

·      At least 3 years of proven experience in operations

·      Fluent English

·      Familiarity with Bio-Tech industry – an advantage
