Business Analyst - Demand

We are seeking a talented and ambitious business analyst, who can solve problems from 30,000 feet as well as dive deep into the details. Someone with a proactive approach, with understanding of B2C demand generation, passion for strategy and growth in the tech space. The Business Analyst will support Gett's business strategy for the demand side, using data-driven decision making to guide the relevant team members and stakeholders in the Israeli market.

This role is for someone who is Fully proficient in SQL and MS Excel, with high-level analytical skills and passionate about solving business problems on a daily basis.

Core mission:

As a Business Analyst, you will see beyond the numbers. You will define, analyze, and draw tangible conclusions and actionable insights about our business and users, collaborating with the Acquisition, Retention, Growth and Branding units, and make important decisions about our main Gett B2C, Gett B2B and Gett Delivery activities to better engage, retain, cross and convert our potential and actual users.

You’ll work closely with our IL operation Chief Marketing Officer and the entire IL marketing team.

In fact, we are looking for someone who will enjoy serving as the business-analytics knowledge centre and as the team’s main go-to-data person.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct customer analysis; customer value, trends, retention, churn, behavior, segmentation, cross and more.
• Get your hands dirty: Manage and execute analytical projects from start to finish including data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modelling, problem-solving, and communication of insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Define, gather and structure marketing and growth data in a coherent and easy to manage form.
• Analyze all marketing channels on an on-going basis. Build and maintain reports, dashboards and metrics, in addition to monitoring the integrity and validity of the data reported.
• Report on marketing data for different purposes and stakeholders - media agencies, publishers, campaign managers, financial reporting, etc.
• Work cross-functionally to validate business assumptions and drive adoption of proposed initiatives by operations teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience using data to drive business decisions in high growth, technology company as a Business Analyst - Must
• BA graduate in Statistics/ Math/ Computer Science/ Industrial Engineering/ Economics
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and SQL
• Experience with Python or R
• Working with MicroStrategy or equivalent BI tool
• Strong data visualization skills - effectively communicate performance and business impact to the broader business
• Comfort working with large complex data sets to come to strong business conclusions and make recommendations to management
• Service-oriented: Providing answers and solutions for multiple stakeholders in the IL operation
• Strong business acumen and research capabilities
• Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations
• Fluent in English and Hebrew (reading and writing)
• Experience in app / mobile company - advantage
