Overview

The Policy Associate role at IMPACT-se will consist mainly of policy analysis, advocacy, and strategic engagement. Building upon IMPACT-se's esteemed reputation as a global research institute specializing in curricula analysis and peace education, the Policy Associate will play a pivotal role in shaping our policy initiatives and advocacy efforts. With a focus on understanding and educating legislatures in the EU Parliament, various European Parliaments, and the US Congress, the Policy Associate will closely monitor proposed legislation and international initiatives, providing nuanced analysis on their implications for our mission. Through effective communication with policymakers at all levels and the crafting of persuasive recommendations, while cultivating relationships with policy makers and NGOs, the Policy Associate will contribute to advancing IMPACT-se's goals of promoting peace, tolerance, and cooperation in school textbooks and curricula on a worldwide scale.

Candidate requirements

●     Professional Hebrew – a plus

●     Native level English – a must

●     Undergraduate degree

●     Exceptional writing skills, great verbal communicator

●     Ability to work independently and collaboratively

●     Attention to detail

●     Adaptability

●     1-2 Experience working with policy makers- a must

●     Familiarity with Middle East geopolitics

● Experience working at an NGO- a plus
