Systems Engineering

Software Engineer for a large for a large defense company in the north.

A security company in the northern region is looking for a System Engineer.

The role includes responsibility for defining requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation of all software components in the system, with a broad view of all project needs and implementation throughout the project's lifecycle. Managing development teams broadly and more.

A significant and challenging role, working with many interfaces in the organization and new technologies in breakthrough projects!

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex system solutions, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project requirements.
• Manage and coordinate project activities, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting, to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Oversee the integration of software and hardware components, ensuring seamless interoperability and system functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and achieve project goals.
• Interface with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and contractual obligations.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address technical, schedule, and budgetary risks.

Requirements:

-5 years of experience in system engineering / project management / development of software / communication-based systems.

-5 years of experience in leading teams and managing subcontractors.

-Experience in developing systems for tactical environments and integration with C4I systems - significant advantage.

-Experience in leading and executing integrations between systems in various industries - significant advantage.

-Bachelor's degree in software engineering / computer science / computer engineering - advantage.

-Master's degree in engineering - advantage.
