Java Team Lead

A successful startup developing a task and project management system that has successfully integrated numerous parameters under one platform. Additionally, the system enables tracking of the sales process and customer management in a way that allows seamless monitoring between stages while managing tasks.

The role involves managing a team of 3-5 developers, primarily working with Node.js and some React. Hands-on involvement is approximately 50-60%, depending on requirements.

Technological stack includes Node.js, React.js, Redux, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Elastic Search, Redis, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Snowflake.

The company currently employs over 1,000 employees across 6 sites worldwide. They are located in Tel Aviv near a train station and incorporate remote workdays.

Your Experience & Skills

• Centralize team's activities, including new feature development, automation, testing, bugs management, and planning your team's iterations in an Agile environment.
• Develop features end-to-end, from thinking about the product, working with UI/UX design team, development, testing, deployment, to post-deployment analysis.
• Ability to scale out teams and groups, nurturing talents, and high-paced hiring.
• Strong technical and product skills with passion for delivering slick products and tools with high impact
• Impact driven - measure everything, make sure every task moves the needle and utilize your resources to maximize the team's impact on every Q.
• Able to lead the team from the ground by keeping a strong hands-on routine.
• Team player, strong communication skills, empathetic, and someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements-

• 6 years Java/Scala/Kotlin/Clojure dev experience.
• 2 years of experience leading software development teams.
• Agile methodologies.
• Track record in team leadership.
• Bachelor's in CS or related (Master's preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, adaptability.
• Fluent English.
