Hardware Engineer

VOCAI is a cutting-edge, early-stage startup focused on revolutionizing battery safety, monitoring, and performance enhancement through our innovative gas analyzer on a chip technology. As an R&D Engineer at VOCAI, you will play a crucial role in our research and development efforts, focusing on the performance and safety aspects of Li-ion batteries. Your primary responsibilities will include board development, designing and building automatic setups, and performing battery tests related to safety events and cycling.

Responsibilities

Develop electronic boards and conduct tests on them.

Design, build, and support automatic setups.

Conduct battery tests, with a specific focus on safety events and battery degradation.

Collaborate with the research team in data collection and analysis to contribute valuable insights.

Utilize analytics equipment and automate electronics setups to execute testing procedures.

Contribute to the development of our unique CMOS-based sensor.

Qualifications

⦁ BSc in relevant fields (electronics) is advantageous. 

⦁ Experience in board development is advantageous. 

⦁ Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of researchers and engineers.

⦁ Proven experience in battery field research is advantageous.

⦁ Excellent teamwork skills.
