Embedded Software Engineer

A communications company that develops infrastructure, global communication software, end-to-end cloud-based solutions, optical fibers, communication cabinets, etc., for major players in the economy. Additionally, they are engaged in all the innovation surrounding 5G and are constantly developing new products from scratch.

Technological stack includes C++11/14, Linux, RT/EM, L1/L2, ARM.

The role involves being part of a team, reporting to the R&D manager. Development in C++11/14, both Low Level and High Level, working with communication protocols at the L1/L2 layer, and working with ARM processors above Linux. The role includes END2END projects, independent work in collaboration with development teams in Israel and abroad.

The company has two offices in central Israel and in the south, with three remote work days. They have around 3,000 employees worldwide and about 700 in Israel.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in C++ and Object-Oriented programming

• Experience in RT-Embedded Linux based environments

• Good understanding of multithreading and concurrency

• Excellent learning ability and integration in existing projects

• An ability to own and lead tasks and drive them to a conclusion

• Team member - working with various stakeholders across the organization

• Good debugging skills

• Good technical English

• B.Sc. in Computer Science from leading universities
