Back End Developer

Who You Are:

As a Backend Developer, you'll bring a minimum of 3 years of software development experience and a deep knowledge of backend development to the table. If you're proficient in programming languages like C, GO, Rust, or TS, and have experience with REST API development, especially in a cloud computing environment like AWS, we want to hear from you!

Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring our platform adheres to industry best practices. If you thrive in a dynamic startup environment and have a passion for fintech, we'd love to have you on board!

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.
• Extensive knowledge of backend development.
• Experience with REST API Development - Advantage
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, GO, Rust, or TS.
• Solid understanding of databases and experience working with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, mostly AWS.
• Deep understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Team player - a must!
• Experience working in the fintech or financial services industry - an advantage
• Previous experience in a startup or small company environment, showcasing adaptability and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and data analysts, to implement new features and optimize existing ones.
• Identify and address potential bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and performance issues in the backend infrastructure.
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry best practices, emerging technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to enhance our platform's capabilities.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain code quality and foster a culture of excellence.
