The Role and the Team

Edusoft is looking for a QA Lead, who is passionate about the technology, delivery and grow a strong group.

The QA group has end-to-end responsibilities, and includes manual QA, automation and performance. This includes activities like identifying and addressing quality gaps, improving testing processes, becoming a knowledge center for your domain, and helping in investigating challenging production issues.

The Role will include:    

ü Leading quality in the different teams (including, manual tests, automation, load and performance).

ü Create and assimilate quality strategy in an Agile organization.

ü Drive innovations in test by building high quality test tools, and breakthrough test technologies.

ü Manage, mentor and develop a global group of QA team members and grow a strong test team.

 Responsibilities

ü Accountability for the product and delivery Quality by

o  Driving testability and quality into the company’s architectures and designs

o  Developing, implementing and maintaining quality practices including methodologies, measurements and reporting

o  Managing the day to day QA activities including QA operations on multiple teams, test planning, test strategy work, and reviews of major QA deliverables

Qualifications

ü 2+ years in leading global/hybrid QA team

ü 7+ years of QA experience for web applications (on windows environment) and mobile Apps

ü Strong background and experience with quality assurance methodologies and testing frameworks

ü Experience in writing QA documents, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports (STP/STD)

ü Experience working in Agile /Scrum development methodology

ü Experience working with MS-SQL

ü Experience working on Azure environment, MTM and CI/CD

ü Ability to effectively develop, retain, train and hire in order to produce a successful team

ü Must be a strong and effective leader

ü Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized

ü Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

ü Fluent English

ü BSc/BA in computer-science or equivalent- an advantage

ü Proven record and demonstration of handling complex performance test projects – an advantage

ü Familiarity with programming languages, and tools used in software development (Java /JavaScript/C#), Selenium, Postman, etc. – and advantage
