Computer Vision Engineer

A startup company in the Augmented Reality field has developed an algorithm based on Computer Vision that can assess the movements of people in real-time and translate them into computer software without the need for sensor wearables.

The role, as part of the team, involves coding in C++ around 80% of the time (the rest is research), focusing on the field of computer vision knowledge, developing algorithms for image and video-based computer vision, both in 3D and 2D, using classic and AI methods. It also entails developing Machine/Deep learning models and working with CUDA (with a tendency towards the engineering side rather than lifecycle).

The company was founded by experienced entrepreneurs, has secured seed funding, and is funded for at least two years with paying customers. It's at a stage where every new team member makes a significant impact and has influence.

Responsibilities

● Conducting applied research.

● Actively participating in tech transfer of new research into products.

● Exploring new research developments in the field.

Requirements-

● M.Sc or Ph.D. degree in a technical field from a top-tier university or equivalent experience with Solid software skills

● Demonstrated ability to generate new ideas and innovate.

● 4 years experience developing Computer Vision Algorithms

● Expert in Deep learning - (Pytorch or Tensorflow)

● Expert in OpenCV

● Excellent communication and teamwork skills

● Passion for cutting-edge technologies and product delivery
