Economy Systems Specialist

The Role:

As an Economy Systems Specialist you will join our business applications team playing a pivotal role maintaining system processes and procedures to support the economy & SAPIENS business’s department.

As a key member of our team, you will have a deep understanding of the financial processes. As part of your role, you will bring all our business units together, gather and define business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Job Description:

• Collaborate closely with users from various departments to define cross-functional business processes, translating them into clear user stories and technical solutions.
• Provide expert support for our financial systems, ensuring smooth operation and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Be responsible for the implementation of enhancements such as new Business Rules, forms, metadata.
• Recommend ways to enhance Consolidation and FP&A activities in the system.
• Simplify processes and perform continuous improvements focus on improving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and building dashboards processes for the organization.
• Performing ad hoc and routine financial close tasks (e.g. running month-end close processes, maintaining a reports calendar).
• Creating and maintaining financial reports. Ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Development and maintenance of Oracle EPM: building and managing data models, reports and dashboards, security and perform any customizations.
• Support all system’s users on their daily tasks.
• Working closely with IS team and Oracle’s system provider.
• Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in economy – Must.
• 2-4 years of experience as a FP&A with proven experience working with Economy Systems with a strong understanding of their architecture and functionality.
• Experience with financial monthly process (P&L forecast, Analysis etc.) – Must.
• Experience in working in global high-tech companies – Advantage .
• Experience with revenue recognition method – Advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and integration tools – Advantage.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal communication in English and Hebrew – Must.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
