Overview:
The Director of Business Excellence is the leader and facilitator of cross functional and department level business excellence initiatives and improvements in collaboration with the company's executive team and related departments and stakeholders. He/she will report to the CFO and serve as Business Excellence expert in corporate departments.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying improvement trends and opportunities to facilitate positive impact on internal and external customers satisfaction level.
- Promoting the efficiency and effectiveness of cross functional processes as well as cost reduction initiatives applying best practices.
- Developing and implementing work plans for continuous improvement in collaboration with all related departments and stakeholders.
- Ensuring sustainability and continuity of improvements across the board.
- Facilitating workshops to raise CI (continues improvement) awareness across functions and sharing best practices within the global organization.
- Carrying out activities aligned with corporate and FDA regulations, SOX, SEC and any other requirements as required as well as raise awareness of compliance among peers.
Professional Experience:
- At least 5 years of working experience in a Business Excellence department of a mid-large size corporation and/or in a management consulting organization.
- Proven track record in identifying, initiating and implementing improvement initiatives within corporate functions, preferably in multinational organizations and/or relevant industries such as Healthcare, Banking, Technology, Media, Telecommunication and Retail).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering/business administration; MBA - a plus
- Certified Lean/Six Sigma Blackbelt, knowledge in BPR and RPA
- Certified PMP - a plus
Skills & competencies:
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma tools and concepts, PMP, BPR and RPA.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical operations - a plus.
- Solid change management and project management skills
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- A persuasive communicator and team player.
- Matrix management skills and ability to motivate without authority.
- Fluent Hebrew and English speaker - a must.
- Familiar with regulatory requirements and EHS guidelines- a plus.
- Result oriented and focused with a 'can do' approach.
