About the Position

In this role, you will:

- Lead the creation and implementation of a new financial system, managing its setup and transition.

- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes, including the preparation of necessary statements and tax filings.

- Maintain rigorous bookkeeping to keep financial records pristine.

- Play a key role in budget management, working across teams to craft budgets that align with our strategic financial objectives.

- Establish and maintain stringent financial controls to protect company assets and ensure integrity.

- Collaborate with various teams to streamline and enhance financial procedures for better efficiency and precision.

- Manage all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.

- Handle cash management and bank reconciliations to keep our financial status consistently updated and accurate.

- Oversee compliance with all regulatory requirements including VAT, taxes, and audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

- Engage with external financial service providers, such as auditors and banks, to facilitate transactions and compliance.

- Proactively manage customer invoicing and payments, addressing inquiries and maintaining timely communication.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA certification required.

- Experience in or exposure to a Big 4 firm is an advantage.

- Deep knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, SOX, and financial reporting standards.

- Proficiency in using financial systems and tools, with advanced Excel skills.

- Background in accounting or bookkeeping; familiarity with COA.

- Experience in tech or startup environments is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail.

- Problem-solving mindset and high level of self-motivation.

- Eagerness to take on responsibility and accountability.

- Team-oriented approach, with excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
