Infrastructure Engineer

You can Expect:

1. Design, implement and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.

2. Align IT infrastructure with business objectives by evaluating current technologies and recommending strategic solutions that ensure scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

3. Lead infrastructure projects from planning and design through implementation and maintenance, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

4. Implement security best practices to protect the company’s infrastructure from threats and unauthorized access.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT initiatives and business objectives.

6. Create and maintain documentation related to infrastructure configurations, processes and procedures.

7. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure-related emergencies outside of regular business hours as needed.

Experience Required:

1. 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure in a corporate environment.

2. Strong expertise in infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to: Server hardware and operating systems, Networking protocols and equipment, Storage systems, Virtualization platforms, Security, Cloud services (Azure)

3. Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

5. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or VMware Certified Professional are a plus.
