Mechanical Design Engineer

Role:

• Mechanical engineer, responsible for the development of aircraft components and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Expertise designing mechanical parts and large assemblies in CAD (Solidworks preferred).
• Experience leading projects successfully from requirements to production.
• Ability to work independently, evaluating and iterating on multiple design concepts.
• Expertise in structural loading and analysis (experience with FEA tools preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel (and preferably MATLAB).
• Strong understanding of aerospace standard parts, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Experience coordinating and working with contractors and suppliers.
• Fluent in English, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
