At Shaare Zedek Scientific’s relatively young technology transfer office (TTO) we strive to turn innovative healthcare ideas into impactful solutions. We are looking for an energetic, talented person looking to grow in the field along with us.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Evaluate biomedical inventions and patents for their commercial potential

·        Lead technology development projects, including team building, identifying subcontractors and partners, planning budgets, and driving progress

·        Manage the commercialization activities of medical device and AI/ML technologies, including licensing to established companies and establishment of spinoffs

·        Seek out leads and contacts for licensing deals and collaborations

·        Lead negotiations for licensing agreements, partnerships, and technology transfer deals

·        Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies

Qualifications:

·        Academic degree in a life science or business field

·        1-2 years of experience in technology transfer, business development, or a related role

·        Successful in building partnerships to broker deals

·        Familiarity with intellectual property, licensing, and regulatory frameworks

·        Excellent communication and negotiation skills

·        Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation

·        Ability to collaborate and drive results across disciplines

·        Team player with strong interpersonal skills
