The BMW TechOffice Team in Tel Aviv scouts for innovation in Israel in the field of autonomous driving, cybersecurity and connectivity.

For our team in Tel Aviv we are looking for an expert in the field of autonomous driving (AD) namely:

Advance development for AD with focus on scouting for sensor technologies and sensor fusion algorithm researcher/developer.

Our research team scouts and unlocks newest innovations for autonomous driving sensors allowing L2+/L3/L4 driving. We are therefore in close contact with our central R&D departments in Munich, Germany.

What awaits you?

-       You help to pave the way for autonomous driving through assessing and analyzing emerging technologies in the area of environment recognition.

-       You propose and evaluate system concepts and sensor set-ups supporting perception and prediction.

-       You actively scout worldwide within the academic, patent and startup landscape to identify new technologies with help of the Open Innovation formats (eg. Proof-of-Concepts).

-       You work together with stakeholders to judge business value and requirements and present results throughout various hierarchies.

What should you bring along?

-       University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.

-       Professional experience (3-5 years) in the area of AD system architectures, function development or integration and an overview of AD technologies and requirements.

-       Strong communications and presentation skills.

-       Teamplayer, self-driven and able to work independently.

-       Native-level Hebrew skills required as well as fluency in English. Professional working proficiency in German a plus.

-       Willing to travel regularly (mainly to Munich, Germany).
